DEAR HUMAN

Even the dead tree, still standing, offers shade from the blistering midday sun. And when it is called to lay down on the earth, it will surrender, and give freely of itself so that it may feed the soil which has supported and nourished it unconditionally for all of it’s days.

Dear Human,

What can you give now? While you still walk lightly upon the Earth? Before you are called to offer your body, in devotion, that it may scatter on the wind or feed the soil? What can you give, and share, and spill freely out of your heart and arms, that others may be lifted up by your giving?
